🔧 How to Install the Lock Into a Bag: 

1. Choose your placement carefully
   Pick a spot on your bag where the two zippers naturally meet when closed — this is where the lock will sit. Make sure the placement allows both zipper pulls to reach and insert into the lock once installed.
2. Align the back plate inside the bag
   Open the bag and hold the metal back plate inside the lining where you want the lock to sit. This will be the base the lock screws into from the outside.
3. Line up the lock on the outside
   Place the main lock unit on the outside of the bag, exactly where the zipper pulls would come together. Line it up with the inner plate.
4. Screw it into place
   Use the screws provided to secure the lock through the bag and into the back plate. You may need to carefully pierce the bag’s fabric (use a precision awl or pointy object) to guide the screws through. Tighten firmly, but avoid overtightening if the bag fabric is thin.
5. Check alignment
   Zip the bag closed and check that both zipper pulls insert smoothly into the lock opening. Adjust slightly before fully tightening if needed.
6. Set your code
   Once installed, you can now set or reset the 3-digit code and slide the lock to secure or release the zips.

🔒 How to Use / Set Up: 

1. Start at 0-0-0.
2. Your lock will arrive preset to 0-0-0. Slide the button to open.
3. Press and hold the reset button
   On the side of the lock (near the dials), you’ll find a small reset button or pinhole. Use a pen tip or similar tool to press and hqold it down.
4. Set your new code
   While holding the reset, turn the number dials to your preferred 3-digit combo.
5. Release the reset button
   Once your new code is set, release the button. Your combo is now saved!
6. To lock it
   Attach the lock to your zipper pulls, bag loop, or storage latch. Slide the button back to secure it.
7. To unlock. Simply turn the dials to your chosen code and slide the button again.

✅ Tip: Keep a note of your code in a safe place (or tell someone you trust). If you forget the code, the lock can’t be reset without it.
