The zebra has become a powerful symbol across rare disease and disability communities, representing people whose symptoms, diagnoses and experiences don’t always follow the expected path.

Our Zebra Awareness Ribbon Sticker brings that symbolism into a bold black and white ribbon, giving people a way to represent rare disease, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes and the wider zebra community while helping raise awareness and visibility.

For many, the zebra represents the long road to answers, being believed and finally finding a community that understands. It’s also a reminder that when something doesn’t fit the obvious explanation, sometimes it really can be a zebra.

Designed by Indy May Designs, with lived experience of disability behind the artwork. The design was originally created in collaboration with Kylee & Co for the 2026 Ehlers-Danlos Society Global Learning Conference in Australia.

🧼 Apply to a clean, dry surface

🖐️ Peel carefully from the backing

✨ Position and press firmly into place

⏳ Allow the adhesive time to fully bond
