Sometimes our hearts just need and crave calm, rest, healing, and restoration. We need time to pull back and look after ourselves — and that isn’t selfish, it’s brave! It takes guts to look after yourself and heal your own battle scars, wounds and care for you just as you need to the most. We can’t help others if we ourselves are bleeding and wounded. So hold that head high and be proud for the work you do on you!! 

This pin is a reminder that self care is important, and just as you would put a band aid on a wound to care for and heal it, so too do we need to do the same for our hearts and souls. It’s both brave, and so beautiful!
